Gil Elvgren’s goodbye to 2012

I’ll miss 2012. Not for anything that happened, but for my Elvgren calendar. Gillette “Gil” Elvgren (1914-1980) was a top pin-up artist of the middle years of the last Century, and his sexy-cute girls are still sexy, still cute.

I can save the calendar and look at it anytime I want. I wouldn’t want to re-live 2012 for anything else.
